DEAD IRISH BLUES
Hills of Conemarra (Live at Fenian's Pub, Jackson, MS)
The Beer Baby
Welcome Poor Paddy Home / Harvest Home (Live in Johnstown, PA)
Founded in 1997 by champion fiddler Marty Faiers and husband/guitarist/singer Greg Faiers, Dead Irish Blues performs an eclectic mix of music derived from and inspired by traditional music passed on by people who have passed on. In PA, and sometimes beyond, Marty and Greg are joined by Ed Hritz (electric bagpipes, concertina, whistle, bass) and Wayne MacEwan (percussion and vocals). When in Memphis, the multi-talented Jimmy Crosthwait joins us on washboard.

Jackson (MS) Free Press "You can't find a more eclectic melting pot of traditional music anywhere"

Shreveport Times: "Greg is a witty singer and fiery guitar player, and Marty is a champion fiddler. Whatever style of folk music they play - Celtic, blues, jug band, swing, or old-time - these musicians make traditional forms sound vital and warm. Dead Irish Blues celebrates the great songs of old and adds its own ditties to (the) ever-growing annals of folk history.”
