Hey -- That is the second time the Willie and Gretta made it to the party - wish they could make it every year. As for Lester Gash, have at it! I actually did get an e-mail by somebody with that name. Yes, there really is a Lester Gash, but the one I sing about is fictional.

Thanks for a great time at the party, Greg (& Marty). Had a blast. Also, I'm glad Lester is on the site here. I couldn't find my copy this morning and just HAD to hear it. I wouldn't mind cramming that one in our set. Oh, and I really hope to see Greta (Mary) again someday...she was awesome.

Hello Jacob. The nice thing about Broadjam is that the sites are set up for musicians, requiring little work on my part. However, there is no "discography" template available. I could put something in the "news" section, but that would be buried and largely unavailable.

Jacob Posted: May 24, 2009
Never Here
Hey Greg!

Could you add a discography section to this hare internet web www home page site?

Thanks!

And what's the track listing for "Never Here?"

Hi Nancy!

My favorite Frank Sinatra-related quote:

To be is to do: Socrates
Do be do be do: Sinatra

First saw that on a men's room wall in Baton Rouge.

John! Thanks for dropping by! We'd love to come to KC, many have encouraged, but give me a venue or two and we'll look into it. As for the security code, if we didn't have that, I'd spend way too much time reading and deleting spam delivered by "bots". We were getting 10-15 computer generated spam posts, many of the porno variety, before I began using the security code.

John Maher Posted: Oct 12, 2007

Looks like y'all are still having fun. It's not just the North Country that could stand some DIB--the Heartland cries for it.
p.s. What's with the security code?

Mike! Netherlands, eh? Well, we're heading out west this summer, so why not Europe next summer? Who knows. For everyone out there, Mike is part of that Fenian's Pub crowd in our photos section of this website. It's nights like 12/21/06 at Fenian's that keep us out on the road.

Hey Mel! We won't get down to BTR on this upcoming trip. We'd love to get down yonder and see you, Miss Claire and all our buddies, but we need a venue. Ever since M's Fine and Mellow Cafe evaporated, we've not had a reliable Baton Rouge home base. It's possible we might swing through town next year in between shows in other LA cities. If you have any recommendations, let me know! p.s. - let us know when you'll be in J'town!

Margaret - thanks for the posting and glad you like the music! We've been wanting to get to Texas for a long time. Marty is from there originally (Austin). It's possible we could get there in 2007. Any suggestions for a Dallas music venue?

To all of those who so graciously shared their thoughts, love, and wutnot: uh, your guestbook entries disapppeared! I'd like to blame AOL, dial-up issues, or terrorists, but somehow when I posted my comments last night, all previous posts were deleted. If you want to blame George Dickel, I won't argue.
